DUBAI, Oct. 9 – MIE Groups, organizer of global trade fairs and conferences, held here on Tuesday a luncheon to promote African Technology Show (AFTS), 10-12 December 2019 in Casablanca, AMDIE (Foire Internationale de Casablanca), Morocco.
The event was well attended by stakeholders, exhibitors and partners of MIE Groups.
In his speech, Zahoor Ahmed, Vice President Strategy and Partnerships, MIE Groups, pointed at the tremendous opportunities the African continent offers to companies providing products and the solutions of the fourth industrial revolution. AFTS 2019 will cover the four sections: Smart Cities, Fintech, Consumer Technology and Industry 4.0.
Fadi Kaddoura, Vice President Sales and Marketing, MIE Groups, said in his presentation that Morocco as the AFTS’ host country, as large as California, emerged as one of the leading high-tech and industry 4.0 hubs in Africa, supported by Morocco’s National Digital Strategy. “Its young and multi-lingual population is connected with the continent and the world”, eager to lift their lives and work to the next level, said Kaddoura.
“Casa”, as they call the metropolis, is the first city of Morocco in relation to total population. The greater metropolis area has approximately 7 million inhabitants.
