We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Africa Digital Trade Week starting with “Guangxi” for the South China Province. Starting from 29th June to 5th July this 7-day event will transpire on our virtual platform “Global Trade Week – VE”.
On June 29th, 2020, Guangxi- Middle East & Africa Digital Trade Week will officially launch with an opening ceremony organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangxi committee, co-organized by the MIE Group. With more than 100 Chinese Enterprise Representatives in attendance the entire exhibition will be based on online platform "Global Trade Week" (GTW) empowered by MIE Group. GTW will assist visitors to search in a live environment for manufacturers and products online, communicate with suppliers in real time, and book video meetings and conferences very conveniently.
Guangxi is an important border area that connects China with ASEAN countries and plays a key role in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, located in the southern part of China, the foreign trade value of Guangxi with countries along the Belt & Road stood at 176.23 billion yuan (about 24.9 million U.S. dollars) in the first five months of this year. China’s State Council recently announced its approval for Baise, City of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on the border with Vietnam, to become a New Development and Opening-up Pilot Zone with this Guangxi is expected to build itself into a significant channel for China to link the ASEAN nations.
With more than 180 brands of commodities from 100+ Guangxi export enterprises exhibited during the event, the exhibition will bring together many famous enterprises for B2B matchmaking from industries such as Medicine and Medical Equipment, Construction Materials, Construction Machinery, Hardware and Electrical Machinery, Food and Agriculture, Plastics Printing and Packaging, Home Appliances, and electronic products. GTW will assist suppliers to showcase their range of products, communicate with visitors instantly, launch video conferences or start live screening. Purchaser can retrieve products and do real-time query for what they are interested in.
For the opening ceremony, high-level officials from Guangxi Sub-Council of CCPIT, and Vice President of MIE Group have confirmed their attendance as VIP speakers. This event aims at consolidating the friendly relationships between China, Middle East & Africa, accelerating overseas business and promoting the cooperation between both sides in various fields.
