On July 13th, 2020, first cloud-based opening ceremony of ‘Yuhuan Digital Trade Fair(Plumbing Valves Session)’ kicked off, organized by Yuhuan Bureau of Commerce with the close support of Zhejiang Plumbing Valves Association and MIE Group.
‘Yuhuan Digital Trade Fair’ is designed to establish a virtual link between Yuhuan manufacturing industry and MENA purchasing dealers. It will play a vital role in maintaining the foreign trade volume and getting Yuhuan export-oriented SMEs out of the negative impact of Covid-19 on the basis of Internet.
‘Yuhuan Digital Trade Fair’ will be accessible online for MENA buyers during July 1st,2020 and June 30th, 2021 (B2B session only available between July 13th and July 17th, 2020). There will be more than 60 companies exhibiting in this show, whose products catalogue include plumbing valves and fastens, HVAC, sanitary products, security equipment and pumps.
In his opening keynote speech, Zeng Ruiping, Deputy Director of Yuhuan Commerce of Bureau, expressed his great confidence in digital exhibition. It’s also an active response taken by Yuhuan Municipal Government to implement “Six Stabilities” and “Six Guarantees” tasks from the Chinese Central Government. At the same time, he pointed out that Yuhuan is one of three major valve production bases, while plumbing valve industry is Yuhuan's crucial pillar. Nowadays, over 1,300 plumbing valve production and processing enterprises are based in this county-level city. It is expected that more plumbing valve products from Yuhuan will break into the overseas markets in the Middle East and Africa and succeed in making made-in-Yuhuan anywhere around the world.
While attending the online inauguration, CEO Logistics of Dubai South, Government of Dubai, Mohsen Ahmad Alawadhi emphasized that: Dubai South is one of the largest free zone projects in Dubai currently. With Al Maktoum International Airport as its heart, it seeks to build a logistics park and a three-dimensional transportation network of land, sea and air which could create more bilateral cooperation opportunities between Yuhuan’s enterprises and Dubai South.
In addition to them, the participants were addressed by Zahoor Ahmed, Vice President of MIE Group; Emmanuel Cherry, CEO of Construction Association of Ghana; Jacob Wanyoike Mwangi, CEO of Architectural Association of Kenya; Hadi Shahpar, Managing Director of P.T.N.Kish and also the representative of buyers.
