2020 Zhejiang Online Export Trade Fair (Kenya & Morocco Station-Food), hosted by Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, co-hosted by Zhejiang International Trade & Exhibition Co., Ltd, MIE which will be held from July 20th to July 24th, 2020 and take good use of GTW digital platform to help Zhejiang agricultural and food companies to develop African countries.

Approximately 100 enterprises from Zhejiang and Africa will be a part of this unique online exhibition through the digital platform. The Fair will be held from July 20th to July 24th 2020; with more than 60 African Agricultural and Food Industry associations, enterprises and related institutions taking part and 60 high-quality Agriculture and Food related manufacturers, tea and machinery manufacturers realizing online accurate docking and accurate matching through internet cloud video conferencing technology.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a massive impact on economies and societies. In an attempt to minimize the impact of the pandemic on the foreign trade enterprises and to provide solution for enterprises, when they are unable to take part in an on ground exhibition and merchants are facing hassles in communication, Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province is offering this unique online platform wherein an exhibition on agriculture and food in Africa will take place.

In 2019, Zhejiang’s total foreign trade volume reached 3.08 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.1% over the previous year. Of this, exports totaled 2.31 trillion yuan, up by 9%. This online fair gives a legal, effective, reliable and affordable way to trade; giving full play to the numbers of Zhejiang economic advantages. During these difficult times, we hope the event will bring a positive business relationship between African countries and Zhejiang.
