2020 China (Cangzhou) Hardware & Building Materials Export Digital Trade Fair hosted by Cangzhou Bureau of Commerce, co-hosted by Hebei AID Exhibitions Co., Ltd and MIE Events DMCC which hold its opening ceremony at 15:30pm China time on GTW platform.
Vice Mayor of People’s Government of Cangzhou City Zhan Peng, KHALIFA Industrial Zoon Commercial Director Khalid Al Marzooqi, CEO of Architectural Association of Kenya Jacob Mwangi attended the opening ceremony and gave the speech. The GTW platform was introduced on site which include Live stream, matchmaking and meeting appointment functions.
Mr. Zhan Peng said in order to help Cangzhou foreign trade enterprises to maintain the market, management to overcome difficulties, this digital exhibition is specially held to build a docking platform for enterprises to carry out international economic and trade cooperation, and use their actions to do something for international economic, trade exchanges and cooperation. It is hoped that through this model, the hard-core strength of Cangzhou's hardware and building materials products can be demonstrated, and foreign trade companies can continue to get orders online and continuously cultivate new advantages of Cangzhou's foreign trade.
Mr. Khalid Al Marzooqi attended the opening ceremony online who said that UAE at the Crossroads of Trade between Europe, Asia and Africa, with access to 4.5 Billion consumers in 4 Time Zones and one of the Top 20 Most Attractive Economies in the World. And official figures showed that bilateral trade exceeded $50 billion in 2019 – a 16 per cent increase from 2018.
Mr. Jacob Mwangi said on the occasion of the Covid-19 pandemic, the usage of digital platform becomes essential for business networking around the world and restarting of global supply chain. Hopefully this event will not only promote bilateral trade, but also lay a good foundation for future business transactions between China and Africa!
More than 110 enterprises with 1370 products from Cangzhou, Hebei participated this unique online exhibition through the digital platform to have a chance to meet 700 thousands buyers related to Hardware & Building Materials. Most of the manufacturers has realized this online accurate docking and accurate matching through internet cloud video conferencing technology.
