FarmCrew is targeting agritech startups and innovations with a $50,000 fund. The fund will go to 10 of the top successful agritech startups operating in the last quarter of 2020.

According to the application portal, the FarmCrew Innovation Fund (FCIF) aims to assist agritech startups in breaking barriers hindering innovation, and growth while connecting them to valuable ecosystems and resources while democratizing investment opportunities.

The programme will include:

  • Well structured programmes/initiatives

  • Value creation

  • Economically empowering startups

  • Improve business influence while promoting sustainable growth

Application process

The application process begins with the filing of an online form. Only the Agri-tech innovative solutions will be approved, any applicant that doesn’t meet the criteria is rejected. The FarmCrew Selection Committee will review them and pick the ones with the most innovative solutions. Selected applicants will then receive mails on defending their solutions.

Evaluations are then done in accordance with business strengths, technological innovation, and scale-up investments.
