The President of CCPIT Jiangsu Sub-Council, Yin Jianqing, delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony. He pointed out that as the main channel to promote local trade and investment, CCPIT has been actively promoting the stability and quality of foreign trade, helping enterprises to explore diversified international markets and serving as an important starting point for the opening up of Jiangsu Province. Ms. Katie McBride, Project Director of DMG Event, delivered an online speech at the opening ceremony and stated that DMG Event has been holding Dubai INDEX Show for 30 consecutive years, helping many international famous furniture brands to explore the lucrative Middle East market. She expressed hoped that Hai’an furniture enterprises could seize the opportunity of the show, actively participate in Dubai INDEX Show in 2021, show new products designed by enterprises and reach international cooperation with purchasers and businessmen in the Middle East.
Mr. Wang Chuanwei, President of East furniture Industry Association and Chairman of East Furniture Industry Base, introduced the relevant situation of this exhibition. He said that this time, he cooperated with MIE EVENTS DMCC to build an online furniture exhibition, and selected more than 200 Hai’an brand furniture to build a virtual exhibition hall, thus building a bridge of communication and cooperation between both parties. One of the main featured highlight of the show is the Global Trade Week - GTW, platform which was used to create the famous brand "Hai’an Furniture Online Demonstration Zone”, set up in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East station and special furniture "virtual hall" and "virtual booth", break the time and space constraints, satisfy buyers and view online exhibition. The exhibitors were afforded with all-day online exhibits and conducted online trading in the true sense of the "never ending exposition".
It was reported that the exhibition will be divided into two stages wherein the virtual fair will continue to open until February 2021. The exhibition also integrates the market resources of the whole industry chain of Hai’an furniture, attracting more than 200 Hai’an furniture manufacturing enterprises as well as raw and auxiliary material suppliers to participate in the exhibition online.
